I never thought I would be where I am today. I always dreamt of going to University  and accomplishing something important; and now I have come to live my dream. When I was younger, I lived at home with my parents and lived under the strict rules of my grandma . He basically ruled my life and anything he said was not to be argued with. He was always right. Always. I realized that I couldnt let my grandma continue to ruin my life and took it upon myself to leave home and start over. I saved every shillings I had to afford an education.  At the very beginning of college, I hated being me. I hated being the outcast and not fitting in. It hurt a lot and because I was so stuck on being accepted, I failed my first semester. I then realized that I loved the courses I was taking and decided...

TOXIC RELATIONSHIPS IN CUMPUS..

[09/10, 19:45] Lenny: , “We are never so defenseless against suffering as when we allow ourselves to love,” and he couldn’t have been more right! Human as we are, we all long to connect with those around us and to belong to something much bigger than ourselves. We spend so much of our lives trying to find our place in the world that it can make us desperate to be with someone, anyone – even if it’s the wrong person. Relationships can be a tricky thing to navigate, and love is often an emotion too complicated to understand.
